Payroll Assistant

This is what you'll be doing as a Payroll Assistant

Processing all payroll data in line with company procedures and current legislation.

• Process monthly and weekly payroll for 400 plus members of staff
• Responsible for completing payroll in absence of the manager
• Update employee records on time and attendance system
• Manage payroll queries from staff via email, phone and face to face.
• Calculate basic payments including SSP, SMP, shift allowances etc.
• Creating payroll reports

The experience you'll bring to the team as a Payroll Assistant

• Background in a similar payroll position
• Sage experience is essential
• Able to communicate effectively
• Confident with the payroll process from start to finish
