Payroll Manager – FTC August 2022

£45 810 - Westminster

This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Payroll Manager to manage the Group payrolls which cover over 1,000 employees you’ll use your positive attitude, your extensive knowledge of payroll legislation and your ability to deliver under pressure. You are expected to look after the employee’s payroll matters and be rewarded for it.

What you’ll be doing as a Payroll Manager

  • The small payroll team which you will lead is part of the Group finance department which gives you the opportunity to work with a finance team full of knowledge and expertise. You will work closely with the Finance, OD team and the HR team to ensure monthly payrolls are accurate and processed on time.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of the payroll preparation and processing including monthly submissions to HMRC, pension administrators and other third parties.
  • You will join the Group at an exciting time as it embarks on a transformation programme which includes reviewing systems and processes in both Finance and People & OD. This will give you a great opportunity to demonstrate and enhance your leadership and communication skills as you make a significant contribution to the finance transformation programme

 

What the successful Payroll Manager will bring to the team

 

  • You will be an experienced Payroll Manager holding a IPPM or equivalent qualification, demonstrating a good understanding of payroll calculations and legislation.
  • You will bring to the role a desire to continually improve payroll processes ensuring robust controls and data protection protocols are always in place.
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of the payroll preparation and processing including monthly submissions to HMRC, pension administrators and other third parties.
  • Bring forth new and fresh ideas with experience in change and implementation
