People Advisor

Yolk recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit are working with a charity who have a vision of sustainable well being for all and work with people who experience challenges with their mental health to find a People Advisor to join their growing team.

We are looking for a HR professional who will fit into this team seamlessly, someone who is driven by motivation and works hard. We are looking for someone who naturally demonstrates the values of this charity: someone who is connected, compassionate, brave and curious.

What the People Advisor will be doing:

This role is a varied role and requires an individual who has great experience within a HR setting and preferably experience working within the charity or public sector.

• Support and manage a casework with your team including performance management, absence management, redundancies, and employee relations.

• Assist with recruitment needs.

• Provide expertise across a number of HR matters.

• Work closely with the head of people and the rest of your team to ensure consistency of approach is applied.

• Experience going out to tender for business.

What the People Advisor will need:

• CIPD Level 5 or in progress.

• Experience working within a face pasted, busy environment.

• Experience working within the charity/voluntary/public sector.

• Strong customer service background.
