Yolk Recruitment is collaborating with a Top 100 Law Firm that has ambitious expansion plans and is looking to hire a qualified Lawyer on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity leave absence. You will provide clients with exceptional legal advice and services.

In this role, you will have the chance to evaluate responsibility, determine claims, and seek expert advice. The team you will be a part of specializes in contributory negligence claims, making this an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury specialist seeking a 12-month FTC.

This is what you'll be doing

You will have the opportunity to learn and work alongside the Equity Partner who not only leads the team but also plays an active role.

You will be responsible for managing a case load of high-quality work with a team that has established an excellent reputation in the Personal Injury field.

You will collaborate with a thought leader in Personal Injury and will be tasked with various responsibilities, including:

• Handling a unique case load of Personal Injury claims, including cycling accidents, animal-related injuries (such as those caused by horses or dog bites), and claims from individuals injured due to dogs scaring horses, resulting in riders falling off.
• Supporting the Partner by undertaking tasks related to complex, high-value claims.
• Communicating directly with clients, obtaining instructions, and ensuring full comprehension to meet client expectations and service levels.
• Advising existing and new clients on funding arrangements.
• Ensuring compliance with all risk management policies and processes

This is what you'll bring to the Team

This position is suitable for individuals who have previously handled Personal Injury claims related to Road Traffic Accidents, particularly those involving vulnerable road users.

Whilst experience representing claimants is preferred, it is not essential.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing their own caseload with minimal supervision and the ability to delegate tasks when necessary.

Strong organisational skills are necessary to effectively prioritise tasks.
