We are currently working with an expanding Tech Consultancy based in Central Bristol looking to expand their Development team due to increased demand.
The role is great move for an experienced developer looking to work on a variety of projects across different sectors & gain exposure to the latest tech. The company are highly progressive & always look to upskill & promote from within where they can.
Responsibilities:
- Developing solutions for clients in PHP (Laravel).
- Working closely with other team members & supporting junior developers to ensure projects are delivered effectively & on time.
- Ensuring that the code you work with is scalable and future proof in such a way that it is easy to extend, understand and build on for other engineers.
- Contributing to daily Scrum meetings & ensuring Agile best practice.
- Proven experience in PHP development.
- Commercial experience of MVC PHP Frameworks (Laravel, Zend, Symphony, etc)
- Understanding of frontend development & frameworks JavaScript, Bootsrap etc.
- Understanding of OOP and software design patterns,.
- Use Git version control system, and of working in agile environment.
- Knowledge/experience of modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
- Knowledge/experience of Docker or Kubernetes.
