Yolk Recruitment are working with "Compare My Move" who are one of the leading generators of conveyancing, surveying, storage and removal leads in the UK.
Compare My Move is a comparison service that was founded back in 2012 to help UK movers compare and connect with certified professionals in the moving industry that you can trust.
Having initially come from a removals background, Compare My Move started comparing removal companies for home movers. Shortly after, added surveying and conveyancing as additional services, looking to continue to scale up with other additional services within the moving industry.
Their goal is to become the "home of moving home". Focused on building the best network of verified partners from local trusted professionals and saving home movers money and time, becoming a recognisable brand within our industry and beyond.
What there looking for
In order for Compare My Move to meet their goal of becoming the "home of moving home" they are on the hunt for the best people to join the team!
They are looking for skilled developer who enjoy working collaboratively and also able to manage their own projects. As well as that they are wanting passionate developers to help them take advantage of their new system and expand their offering, working at their vibrant office in Cardiff.
The successful candidates will work closely with the existing software development team to continue building on their new foundation.
Salary's are up to £60K with openings available from Juniors to senior developers, therefore if this opportunity sounds of interest then it would be great to hear from you!
This is the current tech stack you will be working with
- Symfony 5 and Symfony 4
- API Platform
- Craft CMS
- Webpack and Grunt
- MySQL and Doctrine
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Software Developer or a similar role and will also ideally have experience on some of the current tech stack mentioned above.
Most importantly you'll have a passion for technology, a desire to learn and embrace new challenges and technology systems whilst also having the right attitude and approach.
Imminent projects you will be working on
You will have the opportunity to work on some really exciting and interesting projects which will be at the forefront of what the company are looking to achieve in the near future.
This will include:
- Launching new services
- Writing a new suit of tests
- Extending the B2B dashboard to provide more autonomy for our partners
- Extending our internal CRM to aid the accounts team
- Consolidating build tools
