Private Client Solicitor NQ – 5 PQE


The opportunity

This firm is a national legal business providing full range services for indivdiduals and businesses managing over 80,000 instructions a year. They have received a number of awards including ‘Large Law firm of the Year’, and this team has specifically been awarded ‘Private Client Team of the year’.
The firm has a strong focus on customer services with 91% of customers scoring them as ‘Very good’ and confirming they would use their services again.

Through effective communication the firm engages with employees to involve them in decision making, whilst ensuing employees are always supported. They show commitment buy investing in people with development and training, developing the work they do using technology and innovation.

The Private client team is looking for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their award-winning team.

This is what you will be doing:
  • Advising clients on all aspects of Private Client matters including:
  • Wills including tax and estate planning advice
  • Administrating estates including taxable and non-taxable estate and applying appropriate tax reliefs
  • Advice regarding post-death planning
  • Creation and registration of different powers of attorney
  • Running a case load as well as assisting the Partner with complex cases
  • As a more experienced solicitor you would have active participation in both practice and business development
The experience you will bring to the team:
  • Solicitor or legal executive with experience of running a private client caseload
  • Tax and trusts knowledge and expertise
  • Non-contentious Private Client Knowledge
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passion for business development and willingness to develop new ideas and working practices
  • Proactive approach to work and willingness to use initiative
  • Ability to work well under pressure and work to deadlines
