This is what you’ll be doing
Leading a Production team with mixed technical requirements and skill levels
Meeting production targets on time and within budget
Meeting finished product quality targets
Ensuring full adherence to all Health and Safety and procedures
Undertake continuous improvement activities to achieve maximum production efficiencies
Development of the manufacturing work processes and procedures
In conjunction with Planning, identifying and managing both manpower and material resource requirements
In conjunction with Training, support the development of your teams
Promote a customer focused and process driven culture
Carry out staff appraisals and any formal disciplinary, grievance, absence reviews where required, providing constructive feedback to your team or individuals within it.
The experience you’ll bring to the team
Experience in Production Management in manufacturing industry
Previous experience developing teams and manufacturing processes to deliver on output, quality and safety
An engineering background or proficiency is advantageous but not essential
