Yolk Recruitment is supporting a growing creative manufacturing business with a new opportunity for a hands-on Production Manager to lead a specialist print and production team. Due to continued growth and increased demand, this high growth business are looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of the department, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in delivering exceptional results.

This is what you'll be doing

You'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end production process for large format print projects, leading a small but skilled team to deliver outstanding results for exhibitions, signage, and displays. This is a hands-on role, combining leadership and technical expertise, where you'll be actively involved in running print machines and ensuring seamless project delivery.

• Oversee the full production process from planning to delivery, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
• Lead, motivate, and support production staff, providing guidance and hands-on support as needed
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet client deadlines and project requirements
• Collaborate closely with creative, design, and technical teams to integrate all production elements
• Operate and maintain print machinery, including CNC and RIPs (such as Onyx), ensuring optimal performance and safety
• Uphold and implement quality standards, addressing any issues promptly to guarantee client satisfaction
• Monitor production data, analyse performance metrics, and report on key KPIs (output, downtime, waste)
• Supervise installations and dismantling at events, ensuring health and safety compliance
• Act as the key point of contact between production, sales, and operations to ensure strong communication and alignment

The experience you'll bring to the team

• Proven experience in a production management role within the print, exhibition, POS, or signage sector
• Hands-on experience with print machinery and related software (including CNC and Onyx RIPs)
• Ability to lead and motivate small teams, managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience collaborating across departments to deliver integrated project solutions
