Yolk Recruitment are hiring for a Production Operations Manager to work with the worlds largest Aerospace businesses in the world working on a well known eco project. The successful candidate will mainly recruit and manage a new operations team to deliver the Aircraft and Ground Support Equipment in line with business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Line management, Leadership, Management, recruitment and training of technical production personnel and staff.
• Establishment and monitoring of production KPI's
• Continuous Improvement of the production system in line with business targets
• Health and Safety
• Delivery of a Lean and "Right First Time" Quality culture with associated business systems.
• Leadership of technical and administrative support functions (matrix management).
• Stores planning and inventory control.
• Reporting and performance management of production

Skills

• Educated to degree level in a relevant engineering discipline
• Proven experience of operational leadership in high technology/ lean production environment
• IT Skills
