This global manufacturing business established its first state of the art UK manufacturing facility in South Wales last year and has gone from strength to strength, enabling further expansion of the operation and the creation of two new opportunities for Production Team Leaders to join their team.

As a Production Team Leader you’ll be responsible for the supervision and day to day personnel management of your team, ensuring all safety, quality and productivity processes are adhered to in order to achieve daily goals.While you’ll have the support of senior management on site you’ll be expected to operate with a degree of autonomy at times, so this is best suited to someone with prior leadership experience in production. Experience in a regulated industry will also be advantageous.This is a 9 month fixed term contract with the potential for ongoing permanence.

This is what you’ll be doing as Production Team Leader

• Leading a team of Production Operatives, ensuring Safety, Quality and Productivity standards and processes are followed.

• Communicate the daily production plan to your team, monitor and report performance to Production Manager

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel

• Support the development needs of your team to meet the needs of the operation

• Promote and champion effective co-operation between teams

The experience you’ll bring to the team as Production Team Leader

• Previous experience in a Team Lead or Supervisory role in Production

• Experience managing and developing others

• Strong communication and problem solving skills
