Production Workshop Supervisor
£35,000 - £42,000

What you'll be doing:
- Set a positive example by maintaining a consistently safe and efficient workplace.
 - Oversee and assign technician workloads effectively.
 - Ensure company quality standards are met, satisfying both internal and external customers.
 - Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure targets are achieved.
 - Conduct team briefs focused on quality, cost, and delivery, and gather ideas for improvement.
 - Manage workshop calibration and maintenance according to schedules.
 - Provide training to apprentices as needed.
 - Drive team performance by offering direction and feedback to enhance performance.
 - Maintain safe working practices and adhere to 'Standard Operations'.
 - Address non-conformance issues and implement countermeasures.
 - Motivate the team to foster a high-performance culture that embraces improvement suggestions.
 - Assist in implementing engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds.
 - Report and take action on plant or machinery breakdowns.
 - Collaborate closely with the QEHS department on any issues.
 - Ensure internal delivery processes are followed to support dispatch.
 
And this is what you'll need:
- Extensive experience and a proven track record in manufacturing supervision.
 - Proven experience of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
 - Comprehension of production costs, including waste, downtime, scrap, and rework would be advantageous.
 - Any experience in mechanical fitting would be advantageous.
