Programme Management Officer (PMO) - £400 per day inside ir35 - 12 months (extensions highly likely) - West Wiltshire - fully onsite working - 1 stage interview - DV clearance - Sector: Aerospace / Defence

Yolk recruitment is recruiting for a Programme Management Officer (PMO) to work with a global leader in technology on a crucial defence project for the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity play a vital role ensuring delivery of the programme of work, by providing support functions to the programme team and the Client. This role will work directly for the PMO Head and Account Delivery Director.

Due to the security nature of this project the candidate must hold DV security clearance on submission.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative support and secretariat function to the programme and its effective running.
  • Complete, manage and track Records of Actions and Decisions (RoADs).
  • Maintained knowledge library of governance boards and their RoADs and outputs.
  • Facilities booking and preparation for all related programme meetings.
  • Implemented progress reporting process and drumbeat of reporting.
  • Support/lead development of Programme status and highlight reports.
  • Coordinate stakeholder diaries and organise meetings.
  • Build and maintain a repository of good examples of programme documentation, e.g. product descriptions, stakeholder maps, programme closure documents.
  • Compile delivery governance reports and project/programme reports.
  • Ensure that delivery methods and tools are used in a manner consistent with the project environment.
  • Support development of Information Management and implement procedures such as document configuration control.

Core Skills:

  • Must hold a valid DV security clearance.
  • Must have 2 years of experience of PMO/PSO Secretariat experience.
  • Experience supporting development and implementation of PMO processes.
  • Clean driving license plus insurance to cover business mileage.

Desirable Skills

  • Hold qualifications as a PM / PMO
