Project Engineer

Do you have a formal degree in an engineering discipline? Do you have previous project management experience?

This is what you’ll be doing

You will be a member of the project delivery team and you will have responsibility to manage all projects that are assigned for you from point of order through to customer acceptance. You will be responsible for the successful delivery of your projects and for ensuring that through a projects lifecycle the main aspects including scope, budget, schedule, change, quality and resource are controlled. You will act as a liaison between project management and all further technical disciplines.

·Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor projects assigned to you and perform overall quality control of the project, reporting on project status.

·Prepare project reports as requested by your senior leadership team.

·Liaise with and support your lead engineer daily, interact with them and interpret their needs in good time enabling them to carry out their duties effectively.

·Ensure that all materials, parts and or components are made available and that job packs can be released.

The experience you’ll bring to the team

·Formal qualification in an engineering discipline.

·Good planning and communication skills.

·Proficient in the use of CAD

·Holds a valid driving license.

And this is what you’ll get in return

·£40,000 per annum

·24 days holiday (plus 8 public hols)
