Project Manager - SC Cleared or Willing to Undergo - INSIDE IR35 - Up to £475 per day - South West
We are looking for an experience Project Manager to work on UK MOD projects over the next 12 months. The role is INSIDE IR35 and has a strong likelihood for a further 12 month extension after that; a huge body of work! The Project Manager will support the wider Project Team to deliver the move to adopt a pre-emptive posture for IT incident prevention, faster resolution and a significant uplift in the client's ability to 'discover' events taking place on MOD IT infrastructure. The Project Manager will produce/maintain key project artefacts, including a project schedule, risk/opportunity register, monthly progress reports and project risk/opportunity exploitation plans.

Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of providing a project controls capability aligned to the APM BOK 7 methodology.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of developing and implementing Project: Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Product Breakdown Structures (PBS) and Organisational Breakdown (OBS) structures
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of developing and maintaining a detailed MS Project schedule from defined WBS, PBS and OBS structures.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of Identifying and assessing risks andopportunities to establish a risk and opportunity register, and the management of that register.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of the development and implementation of mitigation plans against identified risks.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of the integration of risks with the project schedule and financial Forecast of Outturn to ensure a coherent risk picture.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of developing and managing a detailed MS Project schedule from a defined work breakdown structure.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of managing a Cost Model, specifically ensuring a coherent picture of risk and delivery profile with the separate risk register and schedule.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of working within a programme Governance structure, meeting reporting obligations and escalating risks and issues as appropriate making clear recommendations for resolution.
Desirable Skills:
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of successful Project Controls support to UK MOD projects or UK Government projects
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of using the MOD risk management ARM tool.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of using MOD dependency management ADAM tool.
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of managing projects involving ITIL processes, including Event Management
Demonstrate, with evidence, your specialist’s experience of using the UK MOD ‘JAMES’ Cost Model.
