Yolk are proud to bring to market this exclusive opportunity playing a key role in driving change and continuous improvement within an innovative manufacturing business based in Swansea.

As Quality Compliance Manager you will be offered security, autonomy and a varied and rewarding role. Reporting to the Managing Director your role as Quality Compliance Manager will primarily be to manage and develop a working environment focussed on quality. You will do this through ensuring procedures meet the relevant standards established by formal management systems such as ISO9001, ISO14001 and BRC.

The Quality Compliance Manager will work collaboratively with the wider management team and will have full responsibility for ensuring the business remains compliant with all relevant legislative requirements.

As Quality Compliance Manager you’ll be…

  • Ensure ISO systems are maintained and developed

  • Ensuring quality is at the forefront of the business and inline with new product developments

  • Ensuring daily, weekly and monthly QA duties are completed to a satisfactory standard

  • Investigate all food safety and quality non-conformities and incidents ensuring that root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventative actions have been identified and closed out.

  • Liaise with departmental management teams to eliminate reoccurring non-conformities and provide guidance and direction to continuously improve standards.

  • Communicating non-conformities and incidents at daily, weekly and monthly review meetings.

  • Ensure the quality management system procedures for the QA function are embedded within the QA team in order to drive excellence and best practice.

  • The role encompasses both office-based tasks and hands on involvement in the production environment.

  • Maintain in conjunction with the technical systems officer relevant site systems and documentation to the required standards, and continually review and improve the quality management system in line with legislation, BRC requirements and customer codes of practice.

  • Ensure that all UK and International standards are adhered to

The experience and behaviours you’ll bring to the team will include….

·       A Manufacturing, technical or Industrial background is essential

·       Experience of managing quality systems

·       Internal auditing experience, knowledge and completed training essential

·       Experience of Industry standards and guidelines

·       The ability to analyse, interpret and communicate data
