Monday - Friday, Days - Half day Friday!

Are you a skilled Quality Engineer with a passion for ensuring top-notch product quality? Yolk Recruitment is supporting an exciting recruitment campaign for a global leader in heat treatments and specialist thermal processing services. With a strong international presence and a commitment to rewarding and valuing their employees, our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This is what you'll be doing as Quality Engineer:

· Manage all quality-related issues within the manufacturing team

· Identify root cause and implement permanent corrective actions for product quality issues

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to efficiently resolve quality issues, maintaining high standards of quality and safety

· Conduct product and process audits to ensure adherence to quality control plans and documentation

· Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality, such as scrap levels and rework rates

· Proactively stop production in the event of unacceptable goods or processes

· Support compliance and adherence to the Quality Management system (AS 9100 / NADCAP)

· Assist in training and promoting quality awareness among team members

· Contribute to cross-functional teams in the development of new products and improvements to existing ones

· Drive continuous improvement activities and lead process improvement initiatives

· Perform root cause analysis and effectively resolve problems

The experience you'll bring to the team as Quality Engineer:

· Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

· Demonstrated expertise in testing best practices, version control procedures, and defect management processes

· Superb computer proficiency, including database management

· Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)

· Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in work methods and goal interpretation

· Knowledge of quality systems and measurement, as well as Lean Manufacturing principles

· Familiarity with AS 9100 & NADCAP standards

· Understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
