A new opportunity has been created with our client, a rapidly growing engineering and manufacturing success story that has created a number of new opportunities as a result of sustained growth and investment in their key South Wales location. 

This is what you’ll be doing

You’ll work as part of a team of engineers responsible for ensuring the smooth transfer of NPD projects into production, developing production line equipment and documentation to drive productivity and quality in a safe working environment.  The role will bring you into contact with all areas and departments in an exciting business. 

In addition to contributing to a broad range of NPI activities and working towards peer reviewing your colleagues work, you’ll have ownership of a number of key areas:

Process Validation – owning the PV from identifying requirements, project managing the relevant activity, and leading and performing the validation process, including taking audits where required.

Process Change Management – owning the Process Change Management Process, championing a world class process control system to ensure relevant regulatory compliance is adhered to.

NPI Quality Tasks – from assessing areas of new process that require equipment studies, control points etc; carrying out gauge R&R and equipment capability studies and producing quality documentation including FMEA, Control Plans and Check Sheets.

The experience you’ll bring to the team

Specialist training will be provided in some areas, but you’ll need a strong background in Quality and a knowledge of quality processes within manufacturing. 

You’ll have an understanding of Process Validation, IQ/OQ/PQ, FAT/SAT etc.
