Yolk Engineering are pleased to be recruiting a Quality Facilitator for an established manufacturer based in Newport. You will be working over a 4 week rotating shift pattern with the option for overtime available.

The Quality Facilitator will have responsibility for supporting the Company's aims and objectives for high quality standards and continuous improvement. The role will be part of a team of QA Facilitators, reporting to the Production Quality Manager.

This is what you'll be doing as Quality Facilitator:

• Carrying out routine process surveillance. Focusing on potential problem areas based on process data analysis and known problem process areas and products.
• Supporting production with management of special product sampling.
• Auditing processes in accordance with assigned internal audit schedules.
• Identifying potential risks to quality of products being shipped to customers and request immediate corrective action
• Ensuring quality control plans are up to date and followed.
• Assisting in production problem solving and ensure solutions are effective.
• Carrying out routine checks to ensure manufacturing are working to latest documented procedures.
• Periodically performing process traceability to ensure its effectiveness.
• Assisting in the analysis, and monitoring of process scrap, supporting the identification of root causes or seeking escalation.
• Supporting manufacturing training process when requested.
• Undertaking work on assigned projects under supervision of quality engineers.
• Ensuring Production have awareness of quality issues raised by internal/external customers.
• Supporting product teardowns and testing when required.

The experience you'll bring as Quality Facilitator:

• Good understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Conversant with quality control techniques.
• Good computer literacy (sound knowledge of word and excel is essential).
• Able to compile data and undertake relevant analysis.
• Problem Solving Skills.
