React/React Native Software Engineer - Cardiff

Hybrid / Salary up to £45,000

Yolk is supporting a fast-moving and well-funded company, in their search for a mid-level Software Engineer to join their growing Mobile Engineering team. This is what you'll be doing:

• Enhancing and improving mobile applications using React Native and Typescript
• Writing unit tests using Jest
• Writing e2e tests using Detox
• Becoming an integral part of their Agile Scrum team and contributing to sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Performing code reviews to promote and maintain best practices

The experience you'll bring to the team:

• Experience with React or React Native (redux, sagas, hooks, context)
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience working with SQL databases
• Experience working within an Agile Scrum environment
• Experience working with Git, using the Gitflow methodology
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for building beautiful and intuitive user interfaces
• Good understanding of unit testing frameworks
• Good understanding of e2e testing frameworks
• Knowledge of different mobile platform (iOS, Android) capabilities and limitations
