Revenue and Cost Accountant

This is what you'll be doing:

As a Revenue and Cost Accountant you will support the Financial Controller and Project Managers to provide real-time reporting on revenue and costs for individual projects.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business who are a leader in their sector.  As a Revenue and Cost Accountant your duties will include:

• Reporting on revenue and costs for individual projects
• Liaising with Project Managers to gain information required
• Creating management reports
• Agree intercompany invoices
• Analysis of performance versus budget including explanation of any variances
• Weekly revenue reports
• Reporting on cost effectiveness and efficiencies
• Cost forecasting
• Accruals and prepayments
• Supporting with the creation of reporting packs and commentary
• Making sure all chargeable activities are captured and charged correctly and to time
• MI reports
• Providing support to wider finance team members

The experience you'll bring to the team:

• Experience working within a Revenue and Cost Accountant role is desirable but not essential
• ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent
• Project management experience desirable
• Strong communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience of JD Edwards is desirable
