Rewards Specialist - Brighton

The opportunity
Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a large and forward-thinking regulatory body. We are supporting them to recruit a Rewards Specialist.
This role is a hybrid position


What the Rewards Specialist will be doing
The Rewards Specialist involves managing all aspects of a Total Reward Strategy. You will be responsible for engaging with the senior leadership team and Executive Board on reward strategy and policy matters, as well as overseeing day-to-day operations and processes.

  • Lead and manage the implementation and embedding of the Reward framework.
  • Develop and evolve the organisation's Total Reward strategy, ensuring compliance with affordability and public sector pay policy constraints.
  • Collaborate with external partners to conduct a comprehensive review of reward arrangements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on reward policies, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the organisation.
  • Coordinate the annual pay award cycle, including performance-related pay arrangements and bonus schemes.

What the successful Rewards Specialist will bring to the team
This role is suitable for someone who has:

  • Proven track record operating at a senior level in reward management
  • Experience designing, implementing, and embedding robust reward policies and governance frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse and present pay data, ensuring integrity and fairness in decision-making.
  • Familiarity with working in a unionized environment
  • Ideally, knowledge and understanding of the public sector pay policies.
