Yolk Recruitment are partnered with a fast growing Digital Agency based in Central London. They are searching for a backend engineer with strong Ruby on Rails experience to join as part of a large recruitment drive.
If successful you will be joining a highly collaborative Agile / Scrum development team working on major greenfield development projects. Their core tech stack is Ruby on Rails, React, AWS & Heroku. Their team develop within TDD framework utilising CI / CD methods & tool-sets to ensure their code is clean, scalable & easily deployed to their cloud hosted estate.
Their office is based in Central London but the role can be fully remote with 1 day per month in the office.
This is what you'll be doing:
- Building clean, scalable well tested code in Ruby on Rails.
- Championing TDD within the wider development team.
- Building & maintaining CI / CD pipelines.
- Mentoring more junior team members.
The experience you'll bring to the team:
- Significant development experience in Ruby on Rails.
- Exposure to cloud based development (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Appreciation & experience within TDD & CI / CD environments.
- Strong experience developing Agile / Scrum teams.
What you'll receive in return:
