I am recruiting for Insurance Sales Executive’s for a well-known finance and insurance company in Cardiff. Working in a sales team of over 20, you will take ownership of making outbound calls to new customer to promote additional products and build relationships.

We are looking for candidates with a range of backgrounds so whether you have customer service experience looking for your first sales role or you are experienced within Insurance sales looking for your new challenge we want to hear from you! This could be a fantastic career opportunity for someone who wants to move forward within insurance/ finance as you would be working for a growing business that promote from within and look after their employees. There would be ongoing support at each level to get you to the next steps of your career.
What are the responsibilities as an Insurance Sales Executive?
  • High volumes of outbound calls to new customers
  • Sell insurance products and any additional customer benefits in line with customer needs and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that all customers receive a welcome call
  • Acting as the first contact point for new customers, making sure that all customers have the best experience and dealing with any new business enquiries as
  • Ensure that all customers receive a welcome call
  • Strive to achieve and exceed monthly and annually sales targets
What skills/ experience do I need?
  • Sales experience within a call centre environment would be desirable
  • The ability to show resilience within a targeted sales role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • An eye for detail and strong accuracy skills
  • The ability to adapt in a changing environment
  • To be a highly motivated individual with a proactive approach
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment would be beneficial but not essential
What are the benefits
  • Salary of £22,000 to £28,000 depending on experience
  • Competitive bonus scheme with OTE of 25%.

  • Monday to Friday 9-5 (1 late shift per week 11-7) & 2 Saturday mornings per month
  • A 4-week training course where you will learn about all aspects of the role
  • Ongoing support to ensure you have all the knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure you are fully competent to carry out the role to the best of your ability.
  • A 3-day course on selling in a regulated environment to help you understand the regulated environment in which we operate
  • A Training and Competency Scheme to support you through all stages of competence within the role, which also provides ongoing support for your ongoing and continuous professional development.
