Sales Support Administrator

This is what you'll be doing

The Sales Support Administrator will provide efficient administrative support to the Group Sales Director, working as an important link between the client, sales person and other non-sales departments, as well as working with the Marketing Manager to produce sales reports, identify trends and chase up potential prospects. Reporting directly to the Group Sales Director, this role is pivotal to the smooth running of the Sales team.

Key Duties

  • Provide day to day support to the Group Sales Director and sales teams to keep momentum within the sales pipeline.

  • Assess marketing opportunities to establish whether they can be converted into sales opportunities and pass to the sales team.   

  • Input and process sales opportunities accurately on behalf of the Group Sales Director

  • Respond to and take ownership of client and internal queries in a timely fashion

  • Organise client meetings/ demonstrations for the Group Sales Director

  • Create and distribute sales performance reports

  • Working with the Marketing Manager to create and boost social media activity

  • Provide sales support to customers, act as point of contact where appropriate and help develop customer relationships

  • Ensure CRM is accurate and up to date and client communications are recorded.

  • Assisting with the organisation’s GDPR compliance programme

  • Assist in data flow with key supplier partners

  • Process sales and purchase order with customers and suppliers

What you'll bring to the team

  • Good telephone manner

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail and accuracy 

  • Team player with good inter personal skills

  • Able to work unsupervised on own initiative to meet tight deadlines

  • A can-do attitude, staying calm under pressure in a fast paced, changing environment.

  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of Sales targets and deadlines
