Sales Support Executive – 6 month contract!

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Sales Support person who is immediately available for work? Are you looking to work within a friendly and welcoming team supporting the UK Sales division for a leading manufacturer? If so, then we’d like to hear from you as soon as possible!

We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Support person to start as soon as possible. Although this is a 6 month fixed term contract initially, there is a strong possibility of a permanent position in the future.

This role would suit someone with strong administrative and communication skills, and any experience in Manufacturing, Export or similar would be a huge advantage.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining and improving relationships with external and internal customers.

  • Processing customer enquires by phone and email, regarding order, pricing, shipping and payment terms and product specifications.

  • Reviewing and prioritising requests for quotations.

  • Process enquires by phone and email, regarding order, pricing, shipping and payment terms and product specifications.

  • Providing professionally presented technical proposals and quotations ensuring contractual, technical and commercial correctness including exceptions to specification and other pertinent data in accordance with customer requirements

  • Managing and monitoring customer proposals throughout the entire bid cycle including chasing quotes, updating and maintaining corresponding quote log activity and interfacing with engineering, production engineering and production planning

  • Running weekly reports.

The experience you’ll bring to the team:

  • Computer Literacy (Word, Excel, ERP systems)

  • The ability to multitask in dynamic environment

  • Natural communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

  •  An additional European language would be desirable but is not essential

  • Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (desirable)
