Search Engine Marketing Specialist
Are you a SEM specialist looking for a new opportunity at an established and continuously growing company? My Client is a leading software company looking for new talent to join their marketing team to aid their expansion and growth in the New Year.

This is what you’ll be doing

  • Leading internal strategy discussions on how to generate new traffic from search through paid and organic campaigns

  • Managing PPC and SEO campaigns focused on the UK market and delivering campaigns across both channels

  • Monitor budgets and oversee search platform accounts to manage spend

  • Tracking KPIs and producing useful reports for management, assessing performance and pinpointing issues; and being able to demonstrate the impact of campaigns and measure ROI

  • Identifying new opportunity in search and identify back link opportunities

  • Managing existing as well as create new PPC campaigns across a variety of platforms such as Google, Display, Bing, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Capterra

  • Optimising campaigns to make best use of budget, run multi variate test on keywords, copy and video formats

  • Keeping abreast of PPC, SEO and SEM trends on a continual basis

The experience you’ll bring to the team

  • A minimum of three years' experience in managing SEO and Pay Per Click (PPC) and a track record of proactively identifying business opportunities, problem solving and creative thinking

  • Advanced knowledge of (and preferably certified in) Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads and Google Search Console; and understanding of Google's algorithm updates

  • Ability to take ownership of search strategy, creating and implementing new ideas

  • Familiarity with SEO tools for technical optimisation and discovery; with experience in utilising PPC as part of our SEO efforts (i.e. Keyword testing, etc.)

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Highly analytical problem solving with the ability to conduct data analysis tasks and a desire to achieve and surpass targets, both for the company and at a personal level

  • Proficiency in Excel; and HTML, CSS and JavaScript
