​Senior Cloud Engineer

Cardiff

This is the chance for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a global financial services organisation with a presence in over 50 countries and 150 offices. You will be joining their cloud management team reporting to their Head of Cloud and assist in defining their hybrid cloud strategy for the entire group.

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, this is what you’ll be doing

• Act as a product owner of the groups cloud engineering function 

• Work in co-operation with Service Delivery, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams 

• Ensure the companies hybrid cloud solutions meet requirements

• Work on introducing and improving CI/CD pipelines for existing and new products

• Test and validate cloud services, solutions, and suppliers 

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, the experience you’ll need to bring to the team

• Experienced in Cloud and serverless infrastructure

• Understanding of Azure tools, Ansible, Terraform.

• Experience with Windows, Linux, and Centos administration

• Ability to maintain hybrid infrastructure

• Ability to support 2nd/3rd Line cloud infrastructure and platform support

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with stakeholders across the business
