Yolk Recruitment are thrilled to be working exclusively with a brand-new client to South Wales, this London based digital agency are building out a new team here in Cardiff and they are looking for their first key hire to join the Technical Lead. Looking to add another 3 developers in 2020, they have big plans for the rest of the year!

This hire will be a Senior Front End Engineer, solid JavaScript and TypeScript is your bread and butter. Being a digital agency, the products can vary but they are high quality and complex. Helping everyone from tech start ups to established industry names, the role will be varied, fast paced but this does not compromise quality. You will be autonomous in the way you work and not be afraid to introduce new ideas, frameworks and techniques.

Agile/Scrum methodology go without saying, experience with CI/CD is a huge bonus. They do things the right way!

There’s also some must haves

• TypeScript JavaScript – solid understanding of design patterns
• ReactJS, React Hooks, Redux, Angular 2+, VueJS
• Test Driven Development
• Experience with building scalable applications
• Cloud Computing, AWS, GraphQL, NodeJS would be ideal but not essential
• React Native would be highly beneficial!

This is what you’ll get in return

• Salary up to £55,000
• Modern open plan working space in Cardiff
• Fully remote until 2021, post Covid-19 still fully flexible/remote
• Visits to the office will be required for meetings
• 25 days + 1 day for each completed year
• Immediate start available, with a swift interview process!
