Cardiff Hybrid working
Up to £65,000
Yolk Recruitment are working with an innovative digital advertising agency in Cardiff looking to expand their engineering team. They're looking for 2 Senior Full Stack Engineers (Python, React, AWS) to help them increase the capability of their platform.
Their tech stack includes Python & PySpark, AWS Glue dataflows, React (TypeScript) front ends and AWS Lambda & API Gateway (TypeScript) back-ends, as well as SQL databases and NoSQL. They don't need experience in all of the technologies, if you're a senior level developer with good experience in any modern OOP programming they would be happy to consider you and train you up on their tech stack.
They are based in Cardiff and operate a flexible hybrid policy with 2 days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within a small agile team and contribute to all aspects of the product development process from inception through to delivery
- Develop features and enhancements as directed by the needs of the company using wellcrafted, reliable solutions using React, TypeScript, NodeJS, AWS Glue, Docker, AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambdas, Python, SQL and NoSQL databases & many more technologies
- Work closely with platform users, company leadership and your team to devise innovative solutions for new product features
- Maintain and improve the performance, maintainability, and quality of existing solutions
- Be a positive role-model, promote good practice and growth among your teammates
Skills required:
- Python or another modern OOP language (C#, Java, Ruby, PHP)
- JavaScirpt, TypeScript including React, Angular or Vue
- Exposure to Test Driven Development
- High level of experience working within an Agile development environment
