Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a senior project engineer to work with a global leader in green technology and manufacturing.

This is an exciting opportunity to form a key part of the Central Capital Project & Engineering Team and will be responsible for management of project activities on a range of projects within the portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Developing project deliverables such as project execution plans
• Prepare documentation for stage gate reviews and manage project reporting.
• Monitoring and reporting spend and engineering progress against project budget and schedule for assigned projects.
• Identification and reporting of risks/issues which may affect schedule, budget or quality.
• Preparing and delivering reports/presentations to various levels of management
• Implementation of project management tools & techniques to ensure continuous improvement is achieved.
• Analysis of Key Performance Indicators across Capital projects portfolio
• Coordination of engineering output across the Internal team e.g. in association with design documentation reviews
• Coordination of transmittals / communication between external partners

Core Skills:

• Experience in project management, project engineering, project controls, Engineering Management within a Capital Projects environment
• Experience in delivering a complex large engineering scope in a complex, multi-stakeholder brownfield site with continuously operated process facilities.
• The ability to apply creativity and problem solving in process execution and engineering.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of financial reporting flows
