Yolk Recruitment are working with a top UK property tech company who are looking to hire a Senior Security Analyst.

The role would see you join a large and established company who can provide fantastic training and support. The role would involve analysing data and information, in order to assess the effectiveness of security and risk management controls, to detect security issues and recommend appropriate and proportional actions to keep their data and operations safe.

This is the chance to join a large UK company who are offering a fantastic opportunity. The role can also be worked on a fully remote basis with minimal time spent in any of their offices across the UK.

What you'll be doing:

The right candidate must be able to implement controls and to operate within a risk management framework, to perform data analysis, operate tools, perform data synthesis and to create reports to communicate confidently and appropriately to various audiences. You will analyse disparate pieces of technical and non-technical information, from a variety of sources and in many formats, working collaboratively with other teams or on your own in order to quickly and accurately assess the scope, severity and potential impact of a security issue or vulnerability to take appropriate action on a timely basis and, at times, under pressure.

Required Skills:

  • Cloud/Cloud security certifications (hands-on, practical focus) would be an advantage
  • Experience with engineering and monitoring intrusion and anomaly detection technologies.
  • Good experience with multiple operating systems and tools (Linux/Unix preferred) and fundamental Internet and security technologies (routing/switching, DNS, packet analysis, etc), in an enterprise or service provider environment.
  • Scripting and automation: Good ability to read and understand logs and alerts, to use specialist tools and programming / scripting languages (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc), to automate tasks.
