Senior Software Engineer - Bristol - 2/3 days onsite a week - £55k + 10% Bonus

Yolk are supporting the recruitment campaign for a Senior Software Engineer at one of the most exciting and rapidly growing Aerospace companies in the UK. As a Senior C++ Engineer, you will be part of a passionate engineering team who are dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions in an agile and fast-moving environment.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Be a point of contact for engineering teams to deploy and maintain AI Software. Lead activities such as customer issue resolution, fleet issues, Monitoring & Diagnostics, fleet configuration, Maintenance of fleet data and outage management.
• Good communication is a must - Act as liaison between Customer, Engineering, Digital and Research teams. Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services in Aircraft Engine Inspection.
• Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure

The experience you'll bring to the team:

• Over 3 years' experience as a seasoned software engineer, passionate about building and delivering technology in an agile and fast-moving environment
• Excellent understanding of C++
• Strong background in embedded development
• Ideally experiences in automotive, aerospace, defence or maritime
• Passion for product development
