SEO Specialist

My client has a unique opportunity for a SEO specialist to join their small but dynamic marketing team based in Cardiff. Working for a niche and exciting business driven by online presence you will have a bit part to play in their continued growth. This is a hands-on role which will enable you to take your organic search experience to a new level.

Responsibilities:

·         Working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager and content team

·         Generate new traffic and lead opportunities across all three verticals

·         Optimisation of meta data to improve organic rankings

·         Consistently auditing and improving website content

·         Upload and format new pages through CMS

·         Evaluating customer journey to identify new lead opportunities

·         Optimise and improve internal linking structure

·         Optimise local SEO strategies and content

·         Perform keyword research across our core services

·         Analyse website to troubleshoot and prioritise site architecture and performance issues

·         Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive SEO site architecture best practices

·         Site maintenance (redirects, broken links, site cleanup, duplicate content etc..)

·         Performing on site audits and implementing improvements

·         Devise and monitor new link building activities

·         Contribute to and optimise outsourced digital PR campaigns

·         Perform competitor backlink analysis

·         Report and evaluate online performance through rank checking tools

·         Monitor and report on keyword rankings across multiple services and locations

·         Analyse and report on website activity using Google Analytics

·         Researching the competitive landscape across all three verticals

·         Research content across multiple verticals and contribute to ideation and brainstorming sessions

·         Maintain expertise in digital news, patents, trends and algorithm updates

Required Experience:

·         At least 3 years of experience in a digital marketing / SEO role

·         Experience in managing SEO campaigns, in-house or agency side

·         Strong knowledge and experience using SEO tools

·         Strong understanding of Google's algorithm including updates and ranking factors

·         Proven record of increasing traffic, leads and sales through digital marketing

·         Strong command of the English language and grammar
