The Opportunity

Yolk recruitment are currently working on sourcing two Shippers for a global construction organisation who have recently acquired a new arm to their business. This is a role with great reward and fantastic career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and reschedule orders whilst utilising haulage fleet effectively
• Working within a team in a fast paced environment you will be responsible for the receipt,   accurate inputting, scheduling and monitoring of customers’ orders
• Telephone and email contact to and from customers
• An adept and timely response to customers’ enquiries, queries and complaints in an efficient manner
• Proactively plan and track orders to completion
• Compile and maintain accurate records as required
• Communicate effective between commercial, production and haulage partner

Requirements 

• Experience working within shipping (essential)
• Familiarity of the local area (essential)
• Confident and enthusiastic
