A new opportunity has been created for an experienced Mechanical Simulation Engineer to join this powerhouse of innovation, a company known for consistently treading the first ground in its field, for constant innovation in the design and development of ground breaking products and for creating jobs through the resulting growth of its UK manufacturing presence.This is an exciting new Simulation Engineer role working in a growing team, where you'll design, analyse and test new and existing technology developments for use in upcoming products. You'll be able to see projects through from concept to mass production, developing your career with a business dominating its market space and known for its innovation and drive for continued excellence.
This is what you’ll be doing as Simulation Engineer
-
AD modelling using Solidworks
-
Analysis of designs using various simulation packages e.g. Solidworks CFD, Solidworks Simulation, Tracepro, Matlab
-
Prototyping and testing of designs to validate simulation models
-
Report writing
-
Assisting in product testing
The experience you’ll bring to the team
-
Mechanical Engineering degree
-
Industry experience using Solidworks
-
Experience in the use of simulation design software - CFD, Thermal Simulation, Optics Simulation
-
Knowledge/ experience of designing high quality plastic parts for injection moulding
-
HNC or similar in Mechanical or Product Design
And this is what the successful Simulation Engineer will get in return

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependant on skills and experience.
