Operating in regulated and challenging industrial environments, they specialise in critical projects across energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing.

They are currently seeking a Software Engineer for the Transmission & Distribution sector. The successful candidate will be involved in the full systems development life-cycle, including specification, design, programming, testing, installation, and commissioning. Responsibilities encompass configuring existing solutions, developing new ones, database configuration, coding, application engineering, hardware interface, system testing, and commissioning. The role may involve client visits, surveys, overseas travel for training, and partner integration's.

Requirements (Essential)

• Proficiency & electronic file/folder management
• Proficient database knowledge
• Knowledge of SCADA/HMIs and control systems
• Experience in C++, JAVA, C#, VB
• Learn and navigate new products
• Research skills for idea/product suitability
• Positive task completion within company procedures
• Team player with drive, tenacity, and willingness to learn
• Effective communication with colleagues and customers
• Adherence to health & safety practices at our company and customer sites

Requirements (Desirable)

• Electrical Engineering knowledge
• Understanding of electrical principles (Power calculations etc.)
• Knowledge of equipment or SCADA systems
• Experience with substation control systems
• Strong research skills
