Mid-Level Software Engineer (Back-End Systems Integration) - up to £48,000- Hybrid OR Remote

The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team has partnered with a very worthwhile Not-For-Profit organisation that supports some of the hardest working members of society.

We are supporting them to recruit a Mid-Level Software Engineer with a focus on systems integration. This role will have a focus on back-end integration work, with a focus on updating aspects of their website and membership systems. They are looking for a team player who can write code to an organisational standard.

What the Software Engineer will be doing
You will be part of a team of 3 who are responsible for the back-end integration of their systems as they are transitioned to C#

• Integrating website and application systems on the back-end to streamline business processes
• Website, application, and CRM development on a full lifecycle basis - specifically internally developed software solutions
• Writing C# code cleanly to an organisationally agreed standard
• Continual review and tuning of bespoke systems
• Writing accurate and relevant documentation

What the successful Software Engineer will bring to the team
You will be a team player with excellent communication skills, experience within software/system integration, and a good understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Excellent grounding in C# programming - a good object-oriented programmer that can work within design methodologies
• Experience working with API's, system integration, and databases
• Good communication skills, as there will be some requirements gathering/pitching as part of the role
• Keen desire to keep learning and developing
