The Role:

If you're a LEAD DEVELOPER looking to take your next career step, then getting into TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE is an inevitability. The role is a cracking blend of leading a fantastic, award-winning engineering team, reviewing PR's, statement-izing the code base as small yet incredibly efficient, utilising Java 11 (and 8 if you're an expert) and working on technical DESIGN and ARCHITECTURE.

The role needs a level head, and someone capable of making CRITICAL BUSINESS DECISIONS. We need someone who can ARCHITECT a new product and ensure that it meets not just today's requirements, but tomorrow's!

Technical Skills:

• Java 11 (Java 8 expertise also considered)

• Spring Core and Boot

• REST API design

• MySQL or similar relational DBs

• MongoDB or similar NoSQL technologies

• AWS (Amazon Web Services)

• Microservices

Desirable Skills:

• A real self-starter; able to hit the ground running

• Able to contribute and lead small AGILE teams and understands AGILE ways of working

• Make

  BUSINESS CRITICAL TECH DECISIONS

• Lend a helping hand to mentor Junior Developers

• Able to review PR's

• Experience working within a Start-Up/FinTech environment
