Technical Manager

Yolk Recruitment have exclusively partnered up long standing engineering company who are looking to recruit a Technical Manager. The company is particularly dedicated to intricately calibrating and restoring precision across a broad spectrum of test and measurement equipment used across industries like aerospace, engineering, automotive, telecommunications, power generation, and manufacturing.

My client is seeking a Technical Manager to work in the Thermodynamics department and be responsible for testing and calibration of pressure measurement equipment.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Actively involved in the calibration and repair of a broad range of off-shelf and bespoke test and measurement equipment.
• Determining methods of calibrating and testing bespoke equipment, optimising and increase laboratory capability.
• Develop new calibration and test procedures.
• Continuous improvement and audit of procedures.
• Root cause analysis activities.
• Manage risk within the engineer laboratories.
• Generating related reports, certifications and documents.

And this is what you'll need:

• Practical engineering lab skills.
• Electrical/electronics background.
• Knowledge of test/calibration.
• HNC in Engineering (or equivalent).
