Trusts Manager

Yolk Recruitment are working with a well-known arts charity based in South Wales to search for a Trusts Manager to join their team. Are you an individual who has a passion for the arts and the charity sector and are looking to join an established organisation with a drive to identify its supporters? We are looking for an experienced individual within trusts, foundations, and major gifts to work effectively with the director or multiple projects and programmes across Wales and England.

What the Trusts Manager will be doing:

You will be responsible for the development of effective strategy to maximise income for trusts, foundations and other partnership funding as well as managing a large portfolio of work. It is key to develop new relationships for the organisations as well as maintaining relationships that are already established. You will be targeted with maximising income of trusts and be responsible for making bids both big and small. You will also use your knowledge and expertise to look at different and innovate ways to bring money into the business.

What the Trusts Manager will need:

This role is a very busy role and therefore experience within a similar setting is key to succeeding in this role. You will also be responsible for line managing a trusts officer and therefore need experience in management. Having experience in a fundraising environment and being able to handle budgets and meet targets is essential. You will have excellent understanding of client and customer databases and be comfortable forming and managing new relationships.

Speaking Welsh is not essential however desirable, and the willingness to attend Welsh lessons will be looked upon positively.
