Yolk Recruitment are working with a new client based in Somerset. They are on the hunt for a UI Designer for a 12 Fixed term contact (potential to extend).
The role is highly focused on a Digital Designer within email marketing and campaigns.
This is what you'll be doing
As a digital designer for this huge retail company, you will be doing the following:
- Creating inspiring designs that are easy to interact with
- Iterating and improving upon current designs
- Create, own and evolve digital UI components
- Ensuring consistency and working within brand guidelines
- Collaborate with Front End Developer and UX colleagues
- Creating accessible design and keeping W3C standards in mind
This is what you'll bring to the Team
As a valued digital designer being apart of the team you will have experience and be responsible for the following:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop & Illustrator
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Email and Digital Platforms
- Experience in creating compelling designs
- Good understanding of design for accessible compliance with mobile first attitude
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Be able to take constructive feedback & amend designs accordingly
- Collaboration in diverse teams
- Attention to detail and problem solving
Desirable Skills
A few skills which would be beneficial but not essential:
- Figma
- Customer focus with retail experience
- Sketch
- Design Behaviours
