Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is working with an organisation which trains and supports NHS staff through their careers. We are recruiting for a full time, permanent User Researcher as part of a high profile and impactful project which will improve the lives of our medical staff in the UK. This is part of a new and growing team which offers opportunity for development and training.
This is a huge opportunity to build a team and lead the function of this project. Dealing with the end users and partner organisations to find out what the need of this project is from their end, gather their ideas and specs and pull together to identify priorities and then liaise with developers and content to create it.
What the Lead User Researcher will be doing:
- Plan and design research activities with users to ensure a clear understanding of what is needed from these services.
- Ensure that teams take a user-centred, evidence-based approach to service design and delivery
- Develop and assure good user research practice
What the Lead User Researcher will bring to the team:
- Use a variety of tools and methods to plan, design and conduct in-house user research to support how services are developed and presented to users.
- Knowledge of research methods across the user-centred design lifecycle and how to implement them.
- Be experienced in conducting qualitative and quantitative research with a design or user experience focus.
- Experience in leading research within an agile multi-disciplinary team with product owners, content designers, visual designers.
