Yolk Recruitment is exclusively working with this well-established manufacturing business as they grow their Warehouse team, with multiple permanent opportunities on either Days (8-4, 12.45 Fri) or 2 Shift (6-2, 11-7, rotating weeks).

You'll need experience in Warehouse operations within manufacturing, and ideally previous counterbalance forklift experience, with in house licenses provided here. You'll need to be physically fit in this active role, always on your feet and at times lifting up to 24kg, and there's a lot to learn in a business that produces a wide range of products, but training will be provided as needed.

This business is an engineering and manufacturing powerhouse, with long term contracts secured for the next 20 years providing clear security and stability. You'll join a close knit, welcoming team in and there'll be plenty to learn as you continue to develop your career here.

This is what you'll be doing:

• Checking the accuracy of goods in and putting away with the correct documents
• Picking from stock locations using barcode gun
• Packing items using the standard operating procedures and barcode gun
• Packing to a high standard to ensure safe delivery to the customer
• Able to follow SOPs to ensure the standard of packaging is always to customer requirements
• Performing perpetual inventory counts as required to meet annual count targets
• Attention to detail paid on all tasks encountered with a right first time attitude
• Keeping all areas of the warehouse and yard clean and tidy
• Awareness of quality and the impact on customer service, highlighting any issues in a timely manner

This is what you'll need

• Warehouse experience in manufacturing
• Counterbalance forklift experience is highly advantageous
• Experience of barcode scanner systems
• Strong attention to detail / accuracy
• Good communication skills
