Multi Trade Operative - Repairs & Maintenance
Location: Predominantly across Dorset
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: £33,862.40 - £35,360.00 per annum
Benefits: Company van, smartphone, uniform, PPE, training and overtime opportunities
A social housing provider based in Dorset is currently seeking an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join their dedicated repairs and maintenance team, working primarily throughout Dorset.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the trades, ideally with previous experience in the housing sector. You should be confident in carrying out a range of maintenance tasks, including:
- Bathroom and kitchen fitting
- Plastering
- Tiling
- Painting
- General repairs and maintenance
You will work across both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring that high standards of workmanship and customer service are maintained at all times. As you'll often be working in occupied homes, a respectful, polite, and professional manner is essential.
What You'll Need
- Previous experience in a similar multi-trade role
- Competency in at least plumbing and carpentry
- A full and current driving licence (for use of a company van)
- A customer-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
